Historical Research Associates
Flowerhead Productions has partnered with Historical Research Associates to lead video and audio production for a multi-year oral history initiative with the Oregon State Capitol Foundation. As part of the project, we’ve traveled across Oregon recording interviews with influential figures, including former legislators, journalists, advocates, and lobbyists.
The work has resulted in a growing archive of oral histories intended for long-term research and preservation, alongside a series of short-form edits created to support public engagement and promote the foundation’s work.
Through each interview, the project aims to preserve firsthand perspectives on the people, decisions, and moments that have shaped Oregon’s political and civic landscape. Our approach focused on creating a comfortable and thoughtful interview environment while maintaining a visual style that felt timeless, intimate, and grounded in the historical significance of the conversations being documented.
