Flowerhead Productions created Building Together, a documentary project highlighting the Makah Indian Tribe’s efforts to develop affordable housing, strengthen Tribal sovereignty, and create economic opportunity through sustainable forestry. The film follows the partnership between the Makah Tribe and the Composite Recycling Technology Center as they work to build homes on the Makah Reservation using western hemlock sourced from Tribal lands.

We worked closely with Tribal leadership, community members, forestry professionals, and CRTC staff to ensure the story reflected the values, and long term vision behind the project. Flowerhead handled all aspects of production, from story development to filming, editing, and final delivery. The result is a film that connects housing, stewardship, workforce development, and community resilience through the voices of the people leading the work.
